The scarves from the “Lavra” collection are dedicated to the Church of All Saints, which towers above the Economic Gate of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and is a 17th-century architectural landmark. Built at the expense of Hetman Ivan Mazepa in 1696–1698 in the Ukrainian Baroque style, the interior murals were painted in the early 20th century under the direction of Ukrainian artist Ivan Izhakevich.

The designs on the scarves are based on the murals on the walls of the gallery leading to the church from the street—depictions of Mount Athos with monasteries at its foot, as well as the decorative ornamentation of the columns and ceilings.

The Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve is one of the key centers of Ukraine’s cultural heritage, a leading research and museum institution, and a site included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The first mention of the Lavra dates back to 1051. The Lavra is one of the oldest monastic complexes in Europe, having played a leading role over the centuries in shaping spiritual traditions, chronicle-writing, and the development of architecture and the arts during the era of the princes.
